We were staying in the area on holiday and knew what type of car we were looking for. My wife had been looking on line for the car we wanted and there were some for sale at Trade Link. Pete was very helpful and said we could look at any of the cars. They were all unlocked and we were free to browse at our leisure without some pushy salesmen constantly on your shoulder. This was really good as it gave the impression they have nothing to hide regarding their cars. We took our favourite one out for a test drive and at no time were we under any pressure to buy. As it turned out we returned two days later and bought the car we had previously test driven. The whole experience from start to finish was relaxed and as enjoyable as could be expected. I would definitely recommend Trade Link.

bought car off this dealer with in 2 days car developed problems when I rang him up he was aggressive rude and hung up the phone on me

I recently bought a 2 yr old VW Golf from these guys. I had a pre-purchase inspection done on the car by my own garage that highlighted a few problems. These were fixed to my total satisfaction very quickly and the actual buying experience was almost a pleasure :-) . Peter could not have been more helpful, thank you very much.

I travelled some distance but it was worth it. First rate customer service and a great car at an amazing price. No pressure from the sales team it made the whole worry of buying a car more bearable!

Unfortunately I purchased this car through an external finance company and from distance so did not get to view the car or test drive prior to collection, however a reputable dealership should describe a car as it is and disclose any problems with it, unfortunately this was not the case with my purchase. The problems started as soon as I drove it away from the dealer and the car has now been at a Ford garage for over 2 months of 6 months of ownership and despite continued contact from myself, the dealership has absolutely no interest in helping with or rectifying the situation. I'm afraid based on my experience I would absolutely not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Like all of our customers, you were given as much time as you wanted to inspect, test and drive your car when you collected it from us personally, and you mentioned no concerns at the time. All our cars have an extensive Pre-Delivery Inspection and your car had no faults showing, of course we would have addressed any issue prior to collection. We understand that the car subsequently developed a fault which is being addressed by Ford directly under warranty although we would have been happy for you to return the car to us at the time to resolve. Would not recommend anyone buying a car for this company. I brought a car from this company with a full Service history. Started up the vehicle service light was on so had to pay a company to services it because unfortunately I live 455 miles away. All so Front wheel discs bent phoned many times just to get fobbed off.was told can bring car back from them to look at but going to cost me £150 round trip. Back parcel shelf missing still wanting for one to be supplied nearly a month now.

Your car did have a comprehensive main dealer service history which you also viewed prior to purchase. When you reported the fault we checked with manufacturer directly who said that those discs do not warp as they are 1.5” thick, which is why we wanted to check the car issue ourselves before correcting. I have recently had dealings with Peter at Trade Link, although the car proved unsuitable I found that Peter was extremely helpful and considerate. He was always polite and friendly. The whole thing was dealt with efficiently and I am happy with the outcome.

Bought a fab car at a fab price , had one small niggle with the car which was sorted without any problem whatsoever , would recommend to anyone wishing to purchase a new vehicle . Staff were a pleasure to deal with , not at all pushy and very patient wouldn't hesitate to go there again .
